The way we schedule appointments at Computer-Me-Tutor is on a first come first serve basis. Appointments are setup in advance on the first available service day, excluding holidays and Sundays. We schedule 3 to 5 appointments a day depending on the extent and nature of the service call. The way we schedule our customer appointments is by a block of time to allow for any delays from the previous appointment or any traffic delays.
If you have a serious problem with your computer or think you may have a major computer problem then please call us immediately to setup an schedule appointment as soon as possible rather than e-mail us. Customer E-mail requests will be checked at the end of the day and will not be addressed to the following next business day. Please do not wait until the last minute to call us and expect us to be out at your place that same day of your telephone call. These requests are nearly impossible to do as we have other previous appointments to keep and we will kindly ask you to make an appointment at the next available opening in our very busy schedule.
Last minute appointments are very hard to come by unless there has been a recent cancellation in our schedule. Sometimes on rare very occasions, it is possible that we will be able to squeeze you into our very busy schedule for that day. Under no normal circumstances can we make a promise to always arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. There are cases where someone’s computer problem may take longer than ordinary to complete in an allotted time frame. There could be unknown factors involved or the customer did not state the full nature about the type of computer problem they were experiencing. If for some reason, you cannot wait until an available opening and you need us to come out that day, then additional charges will apply if we have to inconvenience another previously scheduled customer.
Computer-Me-Tutor supports many local businesses in our area and some of these business clients have service contracts with us. In certain rare situations, they may have an emergency arise where our immediate services are required by a legal binding service contract. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause to your scheduled appointment, but these business clients pay for this type of emergency in advance. We will do everything possible to keep the delay down to a reasonable amount of time but these types of emergencies could be caused from system crashes or virus attacks. In rare circumstances your appointment may need to be rescheduled, the majority of our customers are very understanding and accommodating to these types of computer problems that can arise without notice.
When making your appointment please give us a full description to the best of your knowledge on what your problem is and what you want accomplished during your appointment. This way we can plan for extra time when planning our daily schedule of service calls. Due to the nature of computers, some problems take longer than others to fix and repair. Therefore, if we see we are close to being late for your appointment, then we will give the customer a courtesy call to let you know we are running a little behind in our schedule. Although no one can tell how long each appointment will take, we will do everything possible to be on time with your appointment. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we care about being on time with your appointment so this does not affect your daily routine.
